Anstead Reunion:
We attended the 52nd annual Anstead Family Reunion (Susan's family) at the Delaware Seashore the weekend of June 24 - 26, 2005.  There were about 60 total Ansteads in attendance, including all of Susan's family!  Michael and his cousins really seemed to enjoy each other's company, and it was great for him to see his Aunts and Uncles too!  Plus all the extended family!

Cousin Pam made us these great shirts!

Happy Birthday Mom Mom!
Those of us who headed down early took Mom Mom to a yummy birthday dinner at Jake's Seafood House in Rehoboth.

On the beach:
We spent our beach-time at Rehoboth Beach.  They're just completing a major beach replenishment project, and the beach is far better than it's ever been.  You can even see one of the dredging barges in a few pictures.

Funland:
Funland is a small amusement center on the boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach.  Michael got his first chance on the kiddie rides!  His favorites were the firetruck, spaceship, and the ball pit.  Throughout Rehoboth, there were many young Eastern Europeans working for the summer.  They were the most friendly and helpful staff we've ever encountered at the beach.  Plus we got to meet people from Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, Slovakia, and Belarus!

Around the house and town:
We had a cute little cottage 4 blocks from the beach.  Michael especially seemed to enjoy the huge screened porch.
